Our Client is an internationally recognized and widely acknowledged pioneering law firm in communication and transport laws in Nigeria with very strong litigation and commercial Practice. The Firm is currently expanding and in the process of strengthening existing practice and building new practice areas and therefore requires both experienced and fresh Lawyers (Advocates and Solicitors).
 
Job specification
Legal research and drafting
Preparation of pleadings and conducting of cases
Negotiation and preparation of documentation on transactional matters
Handling of complex ICT, Power, Capital Market, Shipping and Aviation matters

Qualification

Fresh Counsel: Ref-PFR/01
Minimum of Second Class Lower (2.2) degree from university and Nigeria Law School
0 – 2 years post-call-to-bar experience
Excellent oral and written communication
Good PC Skills
Basic knowledge of Nigerian law
Self confidence
Not above 30 years old
Post Graduate Degree in Practice Sections above will be an advantage
 

 

Experienced Counsel: Ref-PEX/01
Minimum of Second Class Lower (2.2) degree from university and Nigeria Law School
3 - 5 years practice experience in a reputable Law Firm
Excellent oral and written communication
Excellent leadership and negotiation skills
Excellent relationship management skills
Good PC Skills
Deep knowledge of Nigerian law
Good Reference from last employer
Post Graduate Degree is Practice Sections above will be an advantage
