Our Client, a terminal operator and memeber of a shipping conglomerate requires outstanding professionals to fill the following vacant positions:
1. OPERATIONS MANAGER - REF: opsmgr@aviraltd.com The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Terminal operations to ensure qualitative and timely delivery of service
 

2. COMMERCIAL MANAGER - REF: commgr@aviraltd.com The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective management of all commercial activities of the terminal to ensure efficiency and profitability 3. HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER – REF: hrmgr@aviraltd.com

The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation and management of the organisational human resources strategies for the development and retention of a talented and motivated workforce
 
4. HUMAN RESOURCES ADVISOR – REF: hradv@aviraltd.com
The successful candidate will be responsible for administering human resources policies that will enhance the operations and ensure the workforce is adequately motivated.
 
5. HSE ADVISOR – REF: hseadv@aviraltd.com
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of healthy, safe and environmentally friendly work environment at all times.

Qualification, Experience & Person Specifications

Position 1:

•         A good first degree (minimum 2.2) or equivalent from a reputable institution. A higher degree/professional qualification will be an added advantage

•     Minimum of 5 years’ experience in terminal operations, three (3) of which must be at supervisory/managerial level

•     Strategic thinking

•     Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Terminal Operating Software is required

•     Broad administrative knowledge and leadership skills

•     Proactive and resourceful

•     Good inter-personal skills

•     Excellent oral & written communication

Position 2:

•     A good first degree (minimum 2.2) or equivalent from a reputable institution. A higher degree will be an added advantage

•     Minimum of 3 years’ experience in maritime/shipping industry, two (2) of which must be at supervisory/managerial level

•     Good business and finance acumen

•     Broad administrative knowledge and leadership skills

•     Good industry knowledge

•     Good inter-personal skills

•     Excellent oral & written communication

Position 3:

•         A good first degree (minimum 2.2) or its equivalent from a reputable institution.

•     Higher degree(s) and professional qualifications will be an added advantage

•     Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in HR, two (2) of which must be at supervisory level

•     Good administrative knowledge and experience in labour relations is required

•     Good inter-personal skills

•     Excellent oral & written communication

Position 4:

•         A good first degree (minimum 2.2) or its equivalent from a reputable institution.

•     Higher degree(s) and professional qualifications will be an added advantage

•     Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in HR, two (2) of which must be at HR function in a reputable organisation

•     Organisational design and development

•     Good inter-personal skills

•     Excellent oral & written communication

Position 5:

•         A good first degree (minimum 2.2) or its equivalent from a reputable institution.

•     Higher degree(s) and professional qualifications will be an added advantage

•     Minimum of 2 - 4 years relevant HSE experience in a reputable company in the Oil & gas industry

•     Industry QA & HSE codes

•     Organisation & administration

•     Excellent oral & written communication
